Nebbiolo is on a roll. The variety is hotter than ever and demand for wines made with Italy’s most noble grape is at an all time high.
But two wines made with Nebbiolo from the same general area in Piedmont cause wide-spread confusion: Nebbiolo d’Alba and Langhe Nebbiolo. Even some die-hard fans of the Langhe and its wines don’t know the difference between the two.
